Indulge in a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters, and let the adventure continue with an array of activities. Billions of stars shimmer overhead, the Milky Way stretches across the horizon, and the only sounds are the gentle lapping of the sea against the boat. Stargazing here is a truly unforgettable experience — a rare chance to feel the pure, unspoiled beauty of nature in its most awe-inspiring form.

We did the 4 day Croatia sailing trip with Funky Tours in September, this was a perfect way to end our summer!

The vessel was well equipped, comfortable and easy to sail. We had a roomy cabin (by boat standards) and a private head with a shower.

The crew were very knowledgeable about the region. Our host Abe was an excellent cook and kept us well fed. He knew lots about the attractions at each port and made sure we knew where to go and what to look at. Our skipper Misalv was an excellent sailor and performed a couple of masterful dockings. We were allowed to take over at the helm which was quite fun on the big Catamaran.

We ran into one day of rain on our 4 day trip, Funky Tours was able to change our itinerary and we visited the ports in a different order to make the best of the weather.

Overall a great experience and would recommend this tour to anybody visiting Croatia.

What an adventure!!

A group of 8 friends (4 couples) from Canada, booked a 3 night/4 day Catamaran tour with Funky Tours as part of our Croatian Coast travels.

Ema was excellent to assist with all the planning and execution for our group. What we could not have known (or ever expected) was that the Adriatic region would experience some of the coldest and windiest weather in over 50 years right as we began our tour.

While this changed the “plans” slightly (i.e. we did not get to enjoy swimming in the crystal clear, warm waters AND had to layer with virtually every piece of clothing), it did not change our enjoyment or determination!

Our dual tag team captains – Alem and Mislav – were total pro’s and helped our group experience a trip like no other.

Despite being hit at times with 100km+ wind gusts, we still had so much fun exploring, eating, drinking (and hanging on for dear life).

I highly recommend Funky Tours if you are looking to cruise the Vodice/Sibenik/Kornati archipelago.

And a special shout out and thanks again to Alem and Mislav for the adventure – “don’t worry, everything is fine!”

Our Croatia Sailing Tour with Funky…

Our Croatia Sailing Tour with Funky Tours was pure magic from start to finish. Skipper Mislav and Host Abi made every day feel like we were sailing with old friends — warm, fun, and incredibly genuine. Their easygoing hospitality and local knowledge made the experience unforgettable.

The itinerary was perfectly balanced, visiting beautiful harbors, charming coastal towns, and breathtaking National Parks. Every meal was a highlight — from delicious onboard meals to amazing dinners in local restaurants along the coast.

We made new friends, laughed constantly, and experienced one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The only downside was that it ended far too soon!

If you’re thinking about sailing Croatia, do it with Funky Tours — you won’t regret it.

We did the 4 day Croatian sailing adventure with our host Edna, and skipper, Tony.

They were exceptionally welcoming and were able to tailor the order of the itinerary for our group such that we did our “rainy” day visiting the waterfalls and experiencing the Risotto Festival at Skradins.

The meals and camaraderie on board and we enjoyed wine and laughter in our evenings back on the boat.

It was magical laying on the front of the boat while were were sailing and anchoring in amazing little coves for swimming.

An amazing experience and we would highly recommend it to others!

We had an absolutely amazing time on the 4 day Croatian Islands sailing trip.

We were on a catamaran shared with 3 other couples, along with our host and a captain.

Highlights were pulling up at small coves for swim breaks, seeing dolphins from the boat, amazing local dinners in town, a sunset hike, fresh oysters delivered to the boat and when the sails were opened up and we had waves splashing and wind on our face!

Couple things to know:
– each cabin had its own ensuite bathroom
– breakfast and lunch was on the boat (excellent food), and dinners at restaurants in towns.

If there is something you cant eat, they will make every effort to accommodate you!
– the catamaran had floaties and paddleboards, so great to get out on the water!
– bring your own beach towel!
– they have a fridge and freezer for you to refridgerate drinks onboard – this is great as you can pick up what you want yourself in town, and then drink at your leisure on the boat

We would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting an authentic sailing experience!!
