>Ancient Valley of Bosnian Pyramids

Valley of Bosnian Pyramids

Our next stop will be famous Bosnian Pyramids which became one of the most intriguing recent stories, at perhaps global scale. Area of Pyramids are only few minutes of nice and scenic ride from the centre of the town.  For some only a “hoax”, but for others true evidence of ancient civilisations to have existed at present day European soil which have left us amazing structures, pyramids.

Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun (and 4 more: Pyramid of the MoonLoveDragon and Mother Earth) aged roughly 12.000 years, with perfect cardinal points and Northern orientation, where thermal inertia analysis reported to reveal faster heat loss than would occur with a plain hillside, interesting story of pyramidal tunnel complex and many more facts are reasons good enough to see interesting story of Bosnian pyramids.

We will have a guided tour of the Pyramid of Sun with a local expert who will help us understand the story of pyramids in depth.

Sarajevo War Tunnel was dug in July 1993 and used to be main supply route to Sarajevo during the Siege

>Meditation place at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.

Tunnel Complex of Ravne

An admirable complex and network of passages, intersections, rooms and underground water reservoirs has been built just beneith the Bosnian Valley of Pyramids. The discovery of this labyrinth was announced by Dr. sci. Semir Osmanagić. Until his discovery, tunnels were considered to be a “natural cave.” Through persistent years of work, the foundation has confirmed that there is an underground labyrinth in the conglomerate that stretches for tens of kilometers.

Once at the site we’ll have guided tour at the Pyramids Tunnel Complex where guests will get first hand stories from local experts directly involved into site and tunnel excavations. Be prepared to hear some very interesting stories while you are wandering around the secret passages of ancient Tunnels of Ravne. Rest assured that you will have a chance to experience the amazing feeling of almost touchable favorable electromagnetic frequencies, high level of orgone energy, absence of harmful cosmic and geopathogenic radiation which created an ideal environment for the process of regeneration and self-healing.

Greenery Oasis of Park Ravne

After we explore Pyramids and Tunnel Complex, we will take a nice walk at the amazing Park of Ravne where it is possible to meditate or simply wander around this charming and “out of this world” oasis of greenery and serenity.

The park contains many cultural and artistic installations. What adds up to its charm are the large number of stunning promenades, yoga and meditation platforms, a concert stage with a natural amphitheater, spiral botanical gardens and picnic areas. The place is surrounded by intact nature and surrounded entirely by dense cypress and pine forests.

Ljesevo village – Lunch with local family

After we fully soak up the atmosphere of Bosnian Pyramids we will head towards the charming little village of Ljesevo just on a time for some refreshments. We will meet our wonderful hosts Vahid and Hava who will show us their small museum with the fascinating amount of the ancient pottery tools and artefacts. Vahid is, we can easily say, one of the best pottery artists in the Balkans.

After a short history lesson in museum, pleasant conversation will continue over the tasty local lunch the family have prepared for us. If you were missing a home cooked meal, or ever wondered how does it looks like to have a true Bosnian locally prepared lunch, this is a perfect time of a day for you.

Serving only from the ingredients she finds in vicinity of her home, our host Hava will put hear skills and heart in making you the finest lunch that will make you feel a lot less of an outsider and more as a family member. Depending on the time of the year, lunch menu will be a small surprise but do feel free to contact us with any possible dietary restrictions so we could keep that in mind.

We will return to Sarajevo around 7 PM.

Fantastic Tour of Bosnian Pyramids, Bosna Riiver and Bijambare Caves
We had a wonderful memorable tour day visiting the bijambare caves, the bosna river springs and the bosnian pyramids. Our wonderful tourguide Ayla was very knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcome. The highlight of the tour was the visit to the Bosnian pyramids where we toured the tunnel complex and climbed up the pyramid of the sun. We even met Dr Semir Osmanangich who was there giving a tour. We highly recommend Sarajevo Funky Tours. Booking and correspondence was easy, quick and friendly. The tour itself was phenomenal!

Wow! The best Balkan Tours you will experience. Fluff overload!
I think my heading was misleading. They are a unique Tour Service in my travelling experiences and you will never encounter such great prices, knowlege, personal experiences and friendliness as you will have with Funky Tours. Awesome just doesn’t cut it!

In August 2014 I set off to Bosnia to follow my lifelong dream of visiting Sarajevo, Mostar and Krevice Waterfalls. I got off the minibus from Serbia to Sarajevo – and instantly felt the most amazing atmosphere from the City. It gripped my heart – unexplainable but true. As though all of Bosnias history was trapped in the valley and couldn’t get out over the mountains surrounding it. As I was travelling alone with no transport, I was finding it a little awkward to go to the places that I most wished to see. Then Funky Tours popped up on my browser!!! Wooop!! \0/ In the office was Skender, immediately responding to my fluffy little email deposits being soooo helpful and arranging where he could fit me on a tour with other people. Brilliant idea for solo travellers on a budget! ;0) Faruk led the excursions with his little yellow minibus and completely personalised the tours with his personal experiences and knowledge of Bosnia……purely captivating. Quite often these stories would make us all feel a little emotional but luckily Faruk has the empowerment to follow it with humour and fluffiness. Phew! lol. Another traveller on TripAdvisor commented that Funky Tours were more like friends. I couldn’t agree more – they look after you and really have fun themselves. You will eat amazing traditional food, drink traditional drinks, be exhilarated from the views from Sarajevo or even travel passed Mostar through the most beautiful Bosnian countryside – seeing Tree’s planted in honor of Tito’s birthday and walk through beautiful Caves that were only found in 1968. Funky Tours will really make you feel part of the Bosnian culture, share the history and if you are like I was……you will not wish to leave Bosnia, or be in tears for a while when you do! lol

Thank you Funky (Fluffy) Tours ;0) lol You have the best job in the world!! It was such a memorable experience that I hope to visit again soon for that trip to Bijambare ;0) *Wiggle

If you are in Sarajevo for a few days and have seen most of the city I would strongly recommend you to do this day tour to Bijambare and Ethno Village.
The guide picked up up around 8:30 and we drove for about an hour to reach Bijambare. The Bijambare complex is simply great place. Tons of forests, small creeks, one large lake and cave complex. Main cave is something really worth experiencing since it is very long and it has few big rooms, a lots of stalactites and stalagmites… Great place.
At the Mountain house we had (on guide recommendation) beans 🙂 This way I just want to say it was one of the best beans I ve ever had, totally made on local Bosnian way. Delicious.

Also the Ethno Village was great place. You get to see true Bosnian ancient village with lots of details and very good food again. Good food all around Bosnia.

We were group from Australia and we surely recommend this tour and this agency. See you soon Sarajevo Funky Tours 🙂
