What Do I Need to Bring?
As Tito’s Bunker is located in Konjic, combo tour with morning visit at 10 AM to Tito’s Bunker, followed with Neretva river rafting is great way to spend a day.
Great day on the river
My 5 friends and I had a marvelous day with Funky tours – they collected us from our hotel in Sarajevo, drove us to Konjics, smothered us in safety equipment, guided us through rapids, let us jump off rocks, BBQ’d our lunch by the side of the river, let us jump of more rocks, and then took around Tito’s bunker – all while speaking English.
Outstanding outfit – highly recommended by visitors from 6 different countries!
Puno Hvala Funky Tours 🙂
Fantastic organization for all your needs in BH!
I was the leader of a school group who had a 5 day trip in BH. Skender helped arrange most aspects of our trip. He was quick, courteous and professional in his communication and organization. The guides (Adnan, Armina, Harris…and Harris!) were all wonderful people. It’s hard to describe how meaningful it is when people open up themselves and share their stories. It made for a truly informative and impactful experience. (Old Town Walking Tour and Full Siege Tour). He also connected us with his partners at Visit Konjic who led us on a rafting excursion (ABSOLUTELY must do for adventure seekers).
Skender followed up throughout the trip to make sure everything was running smoothly but it wasn’t even necessary as his preparations had been so thorough. I would highly recommend Skender, the guides at Funky Tours and their partner companies for anyone visiting BH. HVALA!!!
Mostar, Sarajevo Siege tour and Konjic rafting
We visited Sarajevo and had the good fortune to get in contact with Skender at Funky Tours. Thanks to him and the great people working with him we experienced a fantastic 5 days in Sarajevo and Mostar. The trip was an emotional rollercoaster as we tried to understand the conflict during the recent war and how these wounds will hopefully heal in time. Rafting was awesome and the beauty of the surroundings are breathtaking. We will definitely be back some day.
Excellent guide – a must for anyone visiting Bosnia
We travelled as a family to Bosnia in August (4 adults and 3 children aged 11-16) and we booked several tours with Skender and the team at Sarajevo Funky Tours. We had a moving day at Srebrenica, great fun rafting and walking in the mountains and a very informative tour of Sarajevo itself. We had a wonderful time and Skender, his dad and all of the guides. They were very friendly, engaging with the Children and knowledgeable. We couldn’t have been happier with all of the tours. Everyone went out of their way to meet every need. Thanks so much for a great holiday.
We absolutely loved Bosnia. So much so that we even wrote up all our experiences on a blog – it was thank kind of holiday!
Fantastic experience
Myself, my partner and our friend spent 4 days on a Funky Tour from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo with our guide Faruk. The tour included 3 nights accommodation and activities, as well as a couple of meals when we did activities. There were 5 on our tour for the first 2 days including us, and we were the only one’s on days 3 and 4.
Faruk is an excellent guide. He exceeded expectations in his passion and knowledge of his country. He took time to teach us about the history, people and geography of the country. He works incredibly hard, many hours a day and is always enthusiastic and excited for the next activity. We really enjoyed our time with him.
We did activities from cave visits, city tours, rafting, waterfall swimming, hiking, visiting mountain villages, eating amazing food and swimming in lakes. It was very flexible and we felt as though we were travelling with a friend rather than on a tour.
I highly recommend Funky tours as a brilliant way to travel the diverse and beautiful country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Take time here, don’t just go on a day tour or a city tour. We had the opportunity see so much in 4 days and it has been a highlight of travel for me. The tour was 100 Euro per person per day, inclusive of all accommodation and well worth every cent.
