Experience the best of Central Dalmatia on this all-inclusive four-day premium catamaran sailing holiday from Split city centre, combining famous island towns, the beautiful Pakleni Islands and one of Croatia’s most secluded natural escapes.
Created for travellers seeking a relaxed but immersive island-hopping experience, this small-group cabin charter balances genuine sailing, historic harbours, crystal-clear swimming bays and peaceful island evenings.
Aboard our modern, air-conditioned catamaran, you will discover the timeless streets of Stari Grad on Hvar and the picturesque harbour of Milna on Brač. Along the way, sail past Hvar Town and through the Pakleni Islands, an archipelago of pine-covered islets, rocky coves and turquoise lagoons that provides some of the most beautiful sailing scenery in Central Dalmatia.
The journey also includes an unforgettable overnight stay beside the remote island of Šćedro. With no hotels, busy roads or large crowds, Šćedro offers protected bays, untouched Mediterranean nature, sandy Porteruša Beach and a remarkably bright night sky.
This itinerary brings together two very different sides of the Adriatic. Experience the history and island life of Hvar and Brač, swim among the Pakleni Islands, and then escape to the tranquillity of Šćedro, where the only sounds come from the sea, wind and surrounding nature.
Our premium catamaran accommodates a maximum of eight guests in four private air-conditioned en-suite cabins. This creates a personal and sociable atmosphere, with enough space to relax without the crowds and fixed routines of a larger cruise.
The package includes three freshly prepared breakfasts and three full lunches, distributed according to your selected departure schedule. Meals are prepared on board by your chef-host, while evenings remain free for you to experience authentic Dalmatian restaurants in Stari Grad, Milna and Šćedro.
With a professional skipper and chef-host taking care of navigation, meals and daily organisation, you can focus entirely on sailing, swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding and discovering the islands at a natural pace.
Unlike larger cruise ships, our catamaran can enter secluded bays, protected anchorages and small island harbours that larger vessels cannot reach. The result is a more personal, flexible and authentic way to experience Hvar, the Pakleni Islands, Šćedro and Brač from the sea.
Superior Catamaran Cabin Charter: Enjoy your own private air-conditioned en-suite cabin aboard our premium Lagoon catamaran. With only four guest cabins and a maximum of eight travellers, the experience remains intimate, comfortable and sociable without the cost of chartering the entire boat.
All-Inclusive Sailing Experience: Relax while we take care of the details. Your package includes a professional skipper, chef-host, fuel, marina and mooring fees, paddleboards, snorkelling equipment, Wi-Fi, drinking water and all essential onboard logistics.
Fresh Breakfasts and Homemade Lunches: Three freshly prepared breakfasts and three full lunches are included and served according to your departure schedule. Evenings are reserved for discovering authentic Dalmatian restaurants in carefully selected island destinations.
Bring Your Own Drinks: You are welcome to bring additional food, snacks, soft drinks or alcohol at no extra charge. Shared refrigerator space is available for your personal items.
Discover Hvar, Brač and the Pakleni Islands: Explore the ancient streets of Stari Grad, experience Milna’s picturesque harbour and sail among the forested islets, rocky coves and turquoise lagoons of the Pakleni archipelago.
Hidden Paradise of Šćedro: Spend an unforgettable night beside one of Croatia’s most peaceful islands. Šćedro offers protected bays, clear water, sandy Porteruša Beach and a remarkably bright night sky away from artificial light.
Relaxed Sailing at the Perfect Pace: Carefully planned sailing passages leave plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, relaxing at anchor and exploring the islands ashore.
The Best of Both Worlds: This itinerary combines some of Central Dalmatia’s most celebrated destinations with the untouched tranquillity of Šćedro, creating a sailing holiday that balances island life, natural beauty and peaceful escape.

Our four-day sailing journey begins at Split’s Zapadna Obala, conveniently located beside the city centre and within walking distance of the Riva and Diocletian’s Palace.
Early check-in begins before our scheduled departure at 1 PM. After meeting your skipper, chef-host and fellow travellers, you will settle into your private en-suite cabin and become familiar with the catamaran.
Welcome drinks will be served while the crew introduces the journey ahead and provides a short onboard safety briefing.
As we leave Split behind, our chef-host will prepare and serve the first lunch of the journey. Enjoy your meal on board while taking in the changing views of Split, Marjan Hill and the surrounding Central Dalmatian islands.

We initially sail towards Brač, where the skipper will select a sheltered bay for our first swimming stop. Depending on the conditions, you can swim, snorkel, explore by paddleboard or simply relax on the catamaran’s spacious deck.
Our journey then continues through Splitska Vrata, the scenic sea passage between Brač and Šolta, before crossing towards the island of Hvar.
Arrival in Stari Grad is planned for the late afternoon. Subject to berth availability and weather conditions, we will dock close to the historic centre, allowing you to step directly into one of Croatia’s oldest island towns.
The remainder of the evening is free for you to explore Stari Grad independently. Walk through its narrow stone streets, visit the historic squares and waterfront, or choose one of the town’s local restaurants for dinner.

Guests wishing to experience the livelier side of Hvar can visit Hvar Town, located approximately 20 minutes away by road. Funky Tours can arrange a reliable and fairly priced local taxi for the return journey.
Alternatively, a privately guided Hvar Island experience can be arranged in advance. Depending on the season, timing and availability, the tour may include a family-run donkey farm, Hvar’s lavender-growing landscape and a local winery.

After lunch and time to relax in the bay, we continue towards Šćedro, a small and sparsely inhabited island located just south of Hvar.
Šćedro offers a complete contrast to Hvar’s famous towns. Its protected bays, wooded landscape and minimal development create the feeling of entering a quieter and more isolated Adriatic.

Those interested in exploring on foot can join an easy island walk to sandy Porteruša Beach. The trail passes through Šćedro’s peaceful Mediterranean landscape before reaching a secluded beach with clear, shallow water.

With the ideal blend of privacy and social atmosphere, they provide the perfect setting to experience the Adriatic in style on our 4-day shared sailing adventures.

The key adjustment is to clarify that the tour includes exactly three breakfasts and three lunches, distributed differently between the Sunday and Wednesday departures.
Food Onboard
Three breakfasts and three freshly prepared lunches are included during your four-day sailing journey.
Meals are planned, prepared and timed around the natural rhythm of each day at sea. This allows you to focus on sailing, swimming and exploring without having to organise food or interrupt the journey.
The meal schedule depends on your selected departure:
Sunday departure: Lunch is served on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast is served on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Wednesday departure: Breakfast and lunch are served on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. No meal is served on Wednesday evening following the 4.30 PM departure.
Breakfast on Board
Breakfast is freshly prepared and served before sailing, usually between 7.30 and 9 AM. It is enjoyed at a relaxed pace, often overlooking the harbour or protected bay where we spent the night.
The breakfast table includes fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. Dishes vary throughout the journey and may include eggs prepared to order, French toast, pancakes, fresh bread, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, cured meats and spreads.
Breakfast is unhurried and flexible, creating a calm start to the day ahead.
Lunch on Board
Lunch is freshly prepared during one of the day’s longer swimming stops and served after guests return from the sea.
Our menus are designed for active days spent sailing and swimming, combining fresh vegetables, quality proteins, grains and balanced side dishes. Meals are generous and satisfying without feeling unnecessarily heavy. Ingredients are sourced fresh and locally whenever possible.
After swimming, snorkelling or paddleboarding, lunch becomes an opportunity to sit together in the shade, dry off and enjoy a proper meal while surrounded by the islands and clear Adriatic water.
Including lunch on board keeps the sailing day relaxed and uninterrupted, without having to rush ashore or organise restaurant stops.
Snacks and Drinks
Fresh fruit and light snacks are available throughout the day. Drinking water, coffee, tea and juice are provided on board.
A selection of local wine and beer may be served with lunch. Alcohol is offered responsibly and is not provided as an unlimited drinks package.
Guests are welcome to bring additional snacks, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages and store them in the shared refrigerator without a corkage fee.
Dietary Requirements and Allergies
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals, as well as other dietary requirements and food allergies, can be accommodated when communicated in advance.
Before departure, guests receive a short questionnaire where they can share dietary preferences, allergies and other relevant information with our team.
Dinner Ashore
Dinner is enjoyed ashore after we reach the evening destination and is not included in the package by design.
This gives you the freedom to experience the local food scene in Stari Grad and Milna. Our team provides trusted restaurant recommendations and can assist with reservations, focusing on fresh ingredients, authentic cooking and atmosphere rather than standard tourist menus.
On Šćedro, Funky Tours arranges an optional group reservation at Restaurant Moster, a family-run restaurant known for fresh Adriatic fish, seafood and traditional preparation. Dinner is ordered à la carte and paid directly at the restaurant.
Private 4-Day Sailing Experience
Families, groups of friends and couples looking for complete privacy can book the entire catamaran for their own exclusive four-day sailing experience.
A private departure includes the catamaran, skipper, chef-host, private en-suite cabins, three breakfasts, three lunches and all essential sailing costs. With no other guests joining, the pace and daily experience can be shaped around your group’s interests.
The published route through Hvar, the Pakleni Islands, Šćedro and Brač can be followed as presented or customised before departure. We can change the order of the islands, arrange different overnight destinations or dedicate more time to particular bays, towns and activities.
Possible adjustments may include:
* A different order of overnight stays
* Alternative island towns, bays or anchorages
* More time for swimming, sailing or relaxation
* Additional cultural, culinary or active experiences
* Restaurant reservations and private island tours
* A quieter nature-focused route or a livelier town-based experience
All customised routes must remain realistic within the four-day duration and are subject to sailing distance, weather, sea conditions and berth availability. The skipper retains final responsibility for navigation and safety.
Contact us through the enquiry form or at: sailing@funkytours.com with your preferred dates, group size and ideas, and we will create a private four-day itinerary around your group.
If you are looking for a longer journey with more islands and greater flexibility, explore our 7-Day Private Croatia Sailing Experience.
Packing light is key to a comfortable sailing experience — soft-sided luggage is ideal, as storage space on a catamaran is cozy but limited. Focus on essentials that keep you comfortable, protected from the sun, and ready for both sea and shore.
The lighter you pack, the more comfortable you’ll feel on board. Sailing life is all about simplicity, freedom, and connection with the sea — bring what you need, leave what you don’t, and enjoy the breeze.
This experience is designed for couples, families, groups of friends, senior travellers and solo adventurers who want to discover Croatia through sailing, swimming, island exploration and local food.
No previous sailing experience or particular fitness level is required. Activities can be enjoyed at your own pace.
This is not a party cruise. It is a relaxed, exploration-based sailing experience focused on nature, island culture and sharing the journey with a small group of like-minded travellers.
Unlike large cruises and standard yacht charters, our experience combines small-group sailing with private en-suite cabins, freshly prepared meals and a professional crew.
The journey begins directly from Split’s central waterfront and explores Hvar, the Pakleni Islands, remote Šćedro and Milna on Brač. With only four guest cabins and a maximum of eight travellers, the atmosphere remains personal and comfortable throughout the journey.
Both weekly routes visit the same principal destinations in a different order:
* Stari Grad on the island of Hvar
* Hvar Town and the Pakleni Islands from the sea
* Mostir Bay and Porteruša Beach on Šćedro
* Milna on the island of Brač
* Secluded bays selected for swimming and lunch
* Split’s historic waterfront from the sea
The exact swimming stops and sailing route may change according to weather, sea and berth conditions.
We operate two four-day departures each week from Split’s Zapadna Obala:
Sunday to Wednesday
* Departure from Split: Sunday at 1 PM
* Return to Split: Wednesday at approximately 1 PM
* Route: Split to Stari Grad, Šćedro, the Pakleni Islands, Milna and Split
Wednesday to Saturday
* Departure from Split: Wednesday at 4.30 PM
* Return to Split: Saturday at approximately 4.30 PM
* Route: Split to Milna, the Pakleni Islands, Šćedro, Stari Grad and Split
Guests should arrive before the scheduled departure to complete check-in and settle into their cabins.
The package includes:
* Four days and three nights aboard a modern superior catamaran
* Private air-conditioned en-suite cabin
* Professional English-speaking skipper
* Dedicated onboard chef-host

* Wednesday: Breakfast
Wednesday departure:
* Wednesday: No meal
* Thursday: Breakfast and lunch
* Friday: Breakfast and lunch
* Saturday: Breakfast and lunch
No meal is served on Wednesday evening after the 4.30 PM departure, so guests can enjoy dinner independently after arriving in Milna.
Breakfast is freshly prepared and normally served between 7.30 and 9 AM before sailing.
The breakfast table includes fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. Dishes vary and may include eggs prepared to order, French toast, pancakes, fresh bread, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, cured meats and spreads.
Breakfast is relaxed and unhurried, often enjoyed overlooking the harbour or protected bay where we spent the night.
Lunch is freshly prepared during one of the day’s longer swimming stops and served after guests return from the water.
Meals combine fresh vegetables, quality proteins, grains and balanced side dishes. They are designed to feel generous and satisfying without being too heavy for an active day at sea.
Ingredients are sourced fresh and locally whenever possible.
Drinking water, coffee, tea and juice are provided on board.
A selection of local wine and beer may be served responsibly with lunch. Alcohol is not offered as an unlimited drinks package.
Guests are welcome to bring additional soft drinks, alcoholic beverages or snacks and store them in the shared refrigerator without a corkage fee.
Dinners are not included by design.
Evenings are left flexible so guests can explore the restaurants and local food culture of Stari Grad, Šćedro and Milna. Our crew provides trusted recommendations and can assist with reservations.
On Šćedro, Funky Tours arranges an optional group reservation at Restaurant Moster, a family-run restaurant known for fresh Adriatic fish, seafood and traditional preparation. Dinner is ordered à la carte and paid directly at the restaurant.
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals, as well as allergies and other dietary requirements, can be accommodated when communicated in advance.
Before departure, guests receive a short questionnaire where they can provide dietary preferences, allergies and other relevant information.
Yes. You are welcome to bring additional snacks, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages.
Shared refrigerator space is available, and there is no corkage fee for drinks brought on board.
The catamaran has four private double guest cabins. Each cabin is air-conditioned and has its own en-suite bathroom.
The cabins are designed for two guests and are particularly suitable for couples, friends or solo travellers booking a cabin for single use.
The catamaran accommodates a maximum of eight guests on scheduled cabin-charter departures.
The scheduled Sunday and Wednesday departures operate as cabin charters.
You book a private en-suite cabin and share the catamaran’s communal areas with a small group of like-minded travellers. This provides many of the benefits of a private catamaran without needing to charter the entire boat.
The complete catamaran can also be booked for a private departure.
Yes. Solo travellers are welcome to join and can book a private cabin for single use. A single-use cabin supplement applies because each cabin is normally priced for two guests.
Solo guests retain complete privacy in their cabin while enjoying the social atmosphere of a small-group sailing experience.
Yes. Children aged six and above are welcome on scheduled cabin-charter departures.
Families with younger children should contact us before booking. Depending on the child’s age and the family’s needs, we may recommend a private charter for greater flexibility, privacy and comfort.
No sailing experience is required.
The skipper manages all navigation and operation of the catamaran. Guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the journey or, when conditions allow, learn some basic sailing skills from the skipper.
Guests can generally expect approximately two to four hours of sailing per day, depending on the route, wind, swimming stops and selected departure.
The journey is not designed around sailing continuously from place to place. Each day also includes time for swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, relaxing at anchor and exploring the evening destination.
Depending on the daily route and conditions, activities may include:
Swimming in sheltered bays
Snorkelling
Stand-up paddleboarding
Relaxing and sunbathing aboard the catamaran
Walking to sandy Porteruša Beach
Exploring Stari Grad and Milna
Visiting Hvar Town
Guided Hvar Island experiences
Local wine tasting
Dining at recommended island restaurants
Learning basic sailing skills
All activities are optional and can be enjoyed at your own pace.
Both weekly departures begin and end at Zapadna Obala in central Split.
The pier is located beside Split’s historic centre and within walking distance of the Riva and Diocletian’s Palace.
Private transfers from Split Airport, your hotel or another destination can be arranged upon request.
Vis island lies considerably farther from Split, requiring a longer crossing over open sea. Including it in a four-day itinerary would mean spending more time travelling and less time swimming, relaxing and exploring the islands.
Instead, this route offers a carefully balanced combination of vibrant Hvar and Brač, the beautiful Pakleni Islands and the peaceful, unspoilt island of Šćedro. This allows guests to experience lively historic towns, secluded bays and authentic island tranquillity without rushing the journey.
Soft-sided luggage is strongly recommended because it is easier to store inside the cabin than a rigid suitcase.
We suggest bringing:
Swimwear
Light summer clothing
Long-sleeved shirt or light jacket
Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
Non-marking deck shoes or sandals
Water shoes for rocky beaches
Toiletries and personal medication
Insect repellent
Reusable water bottle
Small day bag
Earplugs for light sleepers
Sailing is about simplicity, so packing lightly will make your cabin more comfortable.
If you are travelling with luggage that you do not need during the sailing tour, please contact us in advance.
Our team can recommend or arrange a suitable luggage-storage solution in Split, subject to availability.
All essential sailing costs are included, including fuel, marina and mooring fees, tourist taxes and VAT.
Additional personal costs may include:
Dinners ashore
Personal drinks or snacks
Optional taxi transfers
Guided tours and wine tastings
Personal shopping
Crew gratuities
Airport or hotel transfers
Some small island restaurants may prefer or require cash payments in euros, so we recommend carrying a reasonable amount of cash.
Your professional, English-speaking skipper is responsible for navigation, safety and daily route planning.
The onboard chef-host prepares breakfast and lunch, assists with daily organisation and helps guests feel comfortable throughout the journey.
Both crew members have extensive knowledge of the Adriatic and can share local recommendations, stories and practical information along the way.
Sailing routes always depend on wind, sea and berth conditions.
The skipper may change the order of destinations, swimming locations, departure times or overnight stops to ensure the safest and most comfortable experience possible.
Central Dalmatia offers numerous alternative sailing routes and sheltered bays, allowing the crew to preserve the overall character of the journey whenever changes are necessary.
