Ever wondered how people of Bosnia and Herzegovina are so genuinely friendly, hospitable and sometimes even relaxed in the way it makes you think there is no earthly burden that could harmfully silent their loud laughter?
It is the impeccable nature that is keeping their undefeated vitality, pungent but healthy food they prepare, fine wines and strong drinks they enjoy and enormous love and a complete acceptance towards all the small differences that makes us so unique.

After breakfast, we will head to explore the region of Herzegovina in depth with our first stop being in Ottoman village and medieval town of Počitelj. We will walk the old stone walls of Počitelj and beat the Herzegovinian all embracing sun in the shadows of the beautiful local garden over an icy pomegranate juice.

Blagaj is also a home to Dervish House (Blagaj Tekke) where we shall enter a completely new level of serenity and learn about mysterious Sufi life.
For the next hour we will outbid the Počitelj art and Blagaj serenity with some adrenaline rush and Mostar zip line, the longest zip line in the country. Those who prefer not to be involved can simply grab a drink and admire the city of Mostar from a 35m long skywalk platform.
Last stop for a day will be amazing Mostar where we will do a walking tour and learn about a myriad of historical events concluding with the poignant war history which made this city become like a man-made structure of yin & yang.
We will have a lunch next to the UNESCO protected Old Bridge and give you some free time to soak up the atmosphere of the city on your own.
We will return to villa in afternoon and have some rest while getting a perfect setting for the evening.
Mostar will be the main theme of the night and our villa will host a famous local bend performer straight from a Mostar Rock School.
Besides some amazing music we will be enjoying the local “meza” with a myriad of homegrown and produced Herzegovinian threats. Star of the night will be a rich Mostarsko beer with an abundance of different choices for those who are not big fans of beer.
The most beautiful and the most hidden story of Herzegovina is the one and only Istup canyon. Easily and without any exaggeration we can call this place a paradise on earth.
After an easy morning accompanied with a tasty breakfast, we will head towards the town of Stolac. Nested on the beautiful Bregava river, a town with more than 30 national monuments and traces of life dating as long as 16.000 years in the past, Stolac region will be the highlight of your Herzegovina stay.
We will start our river tracing experience and discover the waterfall Istup with its hidden oasis of natural diversity. With countless small pools and waterfalls appearing and disappearing along the way, the experience of exploring the turquoise canyon of the Istup is probably one of your best life choices. Picnic lunch just below the waterfalls while overhearing the intact nature sounds is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
If you are not into canyoning we can use this day to visit a captivating Nature park Hutovo Lake. Hutovo Lake is known to be one of the largest European nature and bird reserve and is an ideal asylum for thousands of animal and plant species.
Tucked away in a secluded corner of Herzegovina, this home to hundreds of migratory birds is a place completely shielded from any impact of human kind.
We will enjoy short hikes through a carpets of wild flowers and dense forest at the nature park, and do a famous photo safari while enjoying an explosion of stunning karst landscape, beautiful lakes, swamps and glades.
After a beautiful boat ride we will head towards the charming village setting of Stolac area and visit the local farmers. Tasty picnic lunch will be followed with a nice stroll in the vast spaces of fruit plantations and indulge into a sweet heaven of organically produced apples, strawberries, apricots, kiwis etc.
On our way back we will make sure to stop at the ancient Daorson and make a toast to all of the lost civilizations while admiring the sunset over Herzegovinian karst.
No matter which of the two options you choose, good time is guaranteed and will be followed with some nice and easy walks and exploring the Stolac, a crossroad of civilizations.
Dinner will be arranged just next to a turquoise Bregava river with a typical local barbecue menu and hanging out with locals. Tonight we will have a chance to taste homemade Stolac rakija and wine from a local winery named after the ancient Daorson.
After the dinner we will return to the villa and let you enjoy some free time over the drinks.
More about Stolac and its surroundings read at Funky Tours Magazine.

Guided by local experts we will quickly learn how to paddle and operate a canoe while encountering the exciting cascades, descending parts and slopes.
We will take a few breaks to enjoy the absolutely incredible nature surroundings and swim in the crystal clear waters of Trebižat river.
Lunch break will be arranged at a cosy beach bar and restaurant which will provide top gastronomic pleasures. Nested in the heart of Trebižat river, you will be able to enjoy an absolute zen and privacy from comfortable booth or simply indulge into sports activities such as beach volleyball or swimming.

Our hosts will be amazing wine producers and families Marijanović, Ostojić and Brkić with whom we will learn about the centuries old wine production.
We will enjoy walks through luxuriantly growing vineyards and soak up the atmosphere of captivating Herzegovinian contrasts of lush vineyards, powerful rivers, karst and stone.
In charming settings of opulently growing herbs and flowers and centuries old wine cellars, we will enjoy the finest of Žilavka and Blatina and bring some along to enjoy on our next stop, Kravice Waterfalls which will welcome us in less than 30 min of drive from Medjugorje.
Kravica is a truly remarkable cascade on the Trebižat River nested in a very heartland of Herzegovina karst and we will spend some time to enjoy the paradisiacal falls and swim in the crystal clear pool formed by these massive waterfalls trapped in lush greenery.
By the time you are back, dinner will be ready and this night’s star is a perfectly prepared lamb on spit, an inevitable part of Herzegovinian cuisine. Tonight our pool party will be level up with the sounds of traditional Balkan music brought to you by a local performer.
After breakfast we will head towards Sarajevo and, on the way, explore the amazing Neretva midstream area with one of the best adventures you could possibly do while in the country – Neretva White River Rafting.
Once in Konjic, we will take a full equipment and head towards our starting point. Roughly 45min drive will take us through spectacular sceneries of Boracko Lake and upper flow of Neretva river.
Once we start with rafting, the following four hours will bring us amazing slopes and rapids, turnarounds, canyons with clean and fresh drinkable water, absolutely intact nature and charming oasis of beaches where we will have some rest and enjoy the serene settings of the amazing flora and fauna diversity.
We will arrive at Sarajevo at roughly 6 PM which will give us plenty of time to prepare for the night out. Once we check you into your 4* centrally located hotel, we will arrange a locally prepared dinner and continue with the night by visiting some of the most popular Sarajevo pubs and let you enjoy until you decide to call off a night.

We will enjoy the absolutely astounding views over the city, do some nice and easy walks and visit the old Olympic bobsled which will, most likely, be a highlight of your Sarajevo experience.
Besides brining the glory to the city during the 1984 Olympics, Olympic mountain Trebević is also crucial for understanding the story of Sarajevo Siege which we will introduce you to without spoiling your holiday mood.
After mountain Trebević, we will head towards the airport for your departure. After a week long holiday, when originally you arrived as a guest, and left as a friend, we are looking forward to see you again somewhere in the Balkans on one of Funky Tours special holiday trips.
