Get the insider’s view and explore on foot the most beautiful and historically most famous Montenegrin city – the globally known town of Kotor. A city on the UNESCO list of protected cultural heritage and a city with a written history of over 2500 years.
Our walking tour of the old part of Kotor will visit the most important historical sites and tell the most important stories of the Kotor, and allow you to taste some of the most famous Montenegrin delicacies, such as Njeguški prosciutto, cheese and local Montenegrin wine.

The departure of the tour is in front of the “Vrata od Mora” (eng. Sea Gate), i.e. at the central of the three entrances to the old town of Kotor. At this location you will be welcomed by our guide, who will take you on a magical tour of exploring this beautiful city.

At the very beginning of the tour we shall learn the story of Sea Gate, which was built in the 16th century and today is the largest of three main entrances to the old town.
As soon as we enter the ramparts, we are welcomed by the Arms Square, a largest square in the Kotor old town that got its name from weapons and ammunition that were stored here during the Venetian era.
The most striking part of the square is the Kotor’s clock tower, which was built in the 17th century, that was partly built in Baroque style, with its northern and eastern facades built in Gothic style.
As we continue, the tour will take us to visit some of the most important churches of Kotor such as Saint Tryphon Cathedral, and explore its stunning ramparts (Kotor Walls), which are more than 4.5 kilometers long.
We will make sure to give you tips on when to visit towns most popular Maritime and Cats museums and how to get the most of your hike to the San Giovanni fortress.
Lastly, we are making sure to learn more about a few other interesting locations of Kotor old town such as Old Town Hall, The Prince’s Palace, Trg od Brašna, Bizanti Palace, Beskuca Palace, etc.
